Now: Time is a transmedia, capstone, thesis project in which a word with the prefix trans was chosen, tied into a concept, and finally communicated through three visual narratives.
Time is the measured or measurable period during which an action, process, or condition exists or continues. In an ever-growing, high-tempo society we, the human race, are governed by time. We are pulled in many directions with our responsibilities and schedules that lead many to think that we do not have enough time to complete or perform certain tasks. Due to our mortality and society’s structure of clock time, our time is limited. Since our time will always be limited, we live in a constant state of now. Is it possible that the conflict relies on the individual’s perception of the concept rather than the amount of time we do or do not have?
Now: Time aims to shift our focus from the reality of our mortality toward our ability to deepen our experience of every moment. Thus accomplishing the things that are most important to us.
