In collaboration and direction with Jahi Kijo Lendor, THNX for da Convo podcast is the output of two regular, degular friends that know too much and nothing at the same time. Having extended conversations ranging from sports, pop culture, current events, life, and sharing it with those with the audio and mental capacity.
Using collage, photography, found imagery, video, and audio, THNX for da Convo’s visual language derives from our interest and knowledge on various topics ranging from art, music, film, sports, animation, and more. Pulling from these sources of inspiration and admiration, the juxtaposition of these materials create the feeling of familiarity and nostalgia, yet a sense of mystique and self interpretation. In some cases the details already exist and in others we create them. Typography, both expressive and technical in its use, is reflective of the versatility within the convos. Each episode cover, promo graphic, and video is layered in entendres relating to each episode, our individual perspectives, and the world at large at that moment in time.

Brand Identity
Brand identity captures the host and co-host’s individual and shared qualities that bring them together and the conversations to life.
The logotype represents the structure, fluidity, and spontaneity of the podcast conversations. The contrast of size and color on the speech bubbles communicate the different voices on each episode.
The curvature and continuity of the script type reflect the flow and direction the convos take - the focus always being on the convos.

Social graphics, episode covers, and cinematic motion graphic videos created for THNX's Instagram feed and story to introduce, promote releases, and visually capture the theme(s) of each podcast episode.
These videos serve as a cinematic visual component and promotion for each episode of THNX for da Convo. The videos consist of a release announcement, hype promos, official trailer, and episode clips which are posted on the THNX's Instagram story.
